The passion for craft items and all things crafty started when I was young. I remember, as a young child, one particular visit to our favourite haberdashery shop and seeing many craft items: - rows of material, threads of all colours and types, yarns of all colours and thickness, cross stitch patterns, toys to be stuffed, padded cushion inserts, patterns, books etc.

But then my eye was drawn to those tubes of ………buttons. These weren’t just boring round buttons; there were many types of buttons including many different animals (cats, dolphins, dogs, etc), teddy bears, rocking horses, shapes and sizes in all sorts of colours. You were allowed to buy them either as single buttons or as many as you liked. Yes I did buy a few – but since then I have bought many, many more of them – here they are for you to buy and enhance your projects – time after time.

I find buttons are so versatile that they can be used in all types of craft areas..

They can used to great effect in scrap-booking, on picture frames, as cake decorating, made into jewellery items, in card-making to mention a few of their uses. They give a wonderful and different dimension and depth to any project.
